It is the only Vispring built around vicuña fleece, a scarce fiber collected from an Andean animal that can only be shorn every two to three years. The vicuña top layer creates a sleep surface lighter and softer than cashmere, with warmth that never tips into overheating.
Beneath it, 3,162 hand-nested pocket springs in three layers respond independently to every contour, distributing weight so finely that a partner's movement on one side never carries to the other. Between the springs and the surface, Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere, silk and bamboo adapts to your body temperature through the night, while hand-opened Austrian Moosburger® horsetail acts as thousands of micro-springs that channel airflow through the core and keep heat from collecting under you. Six rows of side-stitching, the most of any Vispring, extend that support to the rail so you sleep edge to edge, and hand-tied woollen tufts and twine lock every layer permanently in place without a single synthetic adhesive.
